  1. The talking heads have always been one of my favorite bands. This must be the place is just my ideal love song. I can relate to every word. Heaven is just a song that touches my soul. I love TLC can’t wait to participate again.

  2. This session was a reunion of sorts for the 4 of us…we all grew up in the 80s/90s in Florham Park, New Jersey. We have all since moved away and hadn’t seen each other in years. I wanted my first song to be on that took us back to our childhood town…I went with Billy Squier’s classic “Lonely is the Night” off his phenomenal 1981 album Don’t say No. I was 5 when this album came out and I had older brothers who rocked it big time. This is one of the songs that introduced me to classic rock and reminds me of suburban New jersey in the 1980s. The guitar soars, the drums pound, his voice drips cool, and the lyrics are bad ass.
‘Somebody’s watching you baby, so much you can do. Nobody’s stoppin’ you baby, from makin’ it too. One glimpse’ll show you now baby, what the music can do. One kiss’ll show you now baby, it can happen to you.’

  3. Yeah Yeah Yeahs’s frontwoman Karen O is one of the coolest, most unique, and talented artists in music today. And producer Danger Mouse is one of the best and most inluential producers…from rock to indie folk to hip hop to and dance…the guy can do it all. They collaborated on a dreamy album in 2019. It is a brilliant combination of her otherworldly voice and his production genius. “Turn out The Light” is just a cool tune…funky…groovy…her voice like a seductive siren calling us into the night.
‘I go out at night and paint the stars. I go out at night and leave my head on the bed. I go out at night and race my heart. I go out at night leave my head on the bed.’
